Last year I shared a Zig-Zag tray and this year, I’m excited to show a simple and chic Spring Wreath with Zinnias.
This project is really easy.
I mentioned (when I made my last door hanging) that grapevine wreath forms are expensive and hard to find out here, so I used some gold crafting wire from the 100 yen store to create a wreath shape. All of my other supplies also came from the 100 Yen store!

Step 1: Twist the gold wire to make a thicker wreath form.
Step 2: Wrap faux greenery around the wreath form and tuck into place.
Step 3: Create Zinnias with cheap Dollar store daisies!
Of course I needed Zinnias specifically for this craft but could only find daisies (for under $1). After I researched the different kinds of Zinnias, I created stamen with yellow craft paper cut into fringe and glued around the stigma. Different colors of markers (black and orange) changed the actual color of the stigma. The petals were snipped into flatter edges and thinned out to take the shape of a zinnia. (See pics above!)
